@datadiode Really sorry for asking like this, but can you guide me how to build ffmpeg latest for windows ce 6, or any version that can be built, aside from the ffmpegwindows-ce repo that has been inactive for 15 years?

• Get https://github.com/ShiftMediaProject/FFmpeg.
• Use https://github.com/ShiftMediaProject/FFVS-Project-Generator to create a solution without additional dependencies which you can open in VS2012.
• Install https://github.com/datadiode/VSC99WRAP to get on-the-fly C99-to-C89 conversion.
• Install https://github.com/ShiftMediaProject/VSNASM or https://github.com/ShiftMediaProject/VSYASM (depends on the version of FFmpeg you intend to use).
• Reverse-engineer https://github.com/manusoft-gh/manusoft-daffodil to end up with a working CE600 toolset which you can use in VS2012.
• Add a build configuration to target the CE600 platform.
• Reverse-engineer VSNASM/VSYASM to have it accept the CE600 toolset.

I only did it for WEC2013, which saved me the Daffodil part.
Be prepared to face an enormous effort.

Thanks a lot for the steps! But I was thinking that yasm project works for me for VS2008 and VS2005 and I have a working assembler, compiler and linker for WINCE600, I can compile the ffmpeg included with TCPMP. But the problem is that they are too old, and their h264 is kinda broken. I wanted to get the latest ffmpeg to build a streaming project that works for win32 and linux, but I guess now I will go with the orignal opensource mpeg4 decoder that is included with TCPMP. Sorry for the long message, in short thanks a lot!
