Here is a list of projects (known to me) that are using PyZDDE. There are at least a couple of university labs and optics labs who are using PyZDDE for optical testing; however I am not at liberty to disclose such information here.

pyEchelleOrders - A GUI based program to simplify writing wavelengths in orders of a spectrograph.

kpy - Nick Konidaris' Python Distribution for Astrophysics.
